Finance Committee: The Finance Committee is charged with the following responsibilities:

1.

Reviewing monthly fiscal reporting data for CARE Act Title I and Title II expenditures by funding source and/or service category;

2.

Making recommendations to the Commission on the monitoring and reporting of unspent funds;

3.

Monitoring the administrative mechanisms for the expenditure of funds;

4.

Developing a budget for the operation of the Commission and its staff;

5.

Overseeing Commission expenditures and fiscal activities;

6.

Conducting an annual assessment of the administrative mechanism;

7.

Identifying, accessing and expanding other financial resources to meet Los Angeles County’s HIV service needs; and

8.

Providing fiscal training and education to Commission members, consumers, providers, and the public.
